Story of a Boy and a Star Fish

Hello Everyone,
Hope you are enjoying my posts, please leave comments and feedback for further improvement.
Today I am here to share you about making a difference through a small thing. Someone has said that we try to change the world but we do not want to change ourselves. Let me share you the story written by Loren Eisley.
One day a man was walking along the beach, when he noticed a boy hurriedly picking up and gently throwing things into the ocean.
Approaching the boy, he asked, “Young man, what are you doing?”
The boy replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.”
The man laughed to himself and said, “Don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t make any difference!”
After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said …
“I made a difference to that one.”

Moral of the Story:

If everything you did had to have a huge, immediate impact before you gave it a little of your time, then you would end up doing very little with your life. And sometimes, the little things we do can add up and turn into big things – they make ripples that spread further than we can see.
Just a glass of water may cost you none, but remember you are giving a life to those who are thirsty. A cup of water stated in Matthew 10:42 is a simple steps to make a difference.
"So the next time you get chance to make a small difference, don’t think of the big picture and just do it – after all, it might not make a difference to you, but to somebody else, it might." Sat Sindhar
